The Tony-winning hit revival of Chicago welcomes Erika Jayne and Paulo Szot to the production on January 6. Jayne takes over the role of Roxie Hart from Charlotte d'Amboise while Szot steps into the role of Billy Flynn, recently vacated by Tom Hewitt.
Chicago marks Jayne's Broadway debut. She is an acclaimed pop artist who has raked in nine #1s on the U.S. Billboard dance chart. On top of that, she is a New York Times bestselling author and fan-favorite star of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Szot won the Tony Award as Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his Broadway-debut turn as Emile de Becque in the 2008 Tony-winning revival of South Pacific. His opera credits include performances at the Metropolitan Opera, Scala di Milano, Paris Opera, Teatro Real and Carnegie Hall.
Jayne will remain with Chicago through March 29; Szot will stay through January 31 and return on March 16 for a run through May 19.
